Coming back to joy

After all of the busyness that led up to our marriage, our time away added to the joy of our day.

I noticed myself unwind and relax over the course of the four days, and each day I took in more of my surroundings. With this, I noticed my senses became more finely tuned to nature.

I am now back to work and have felt the busyness return. Mindfulness and meditation are my paths back to my breath that sustains and reminds me to draw on the love and joy of our marriage.
