Mindfulness and Spaciousness
I write a great deal about my relationship with loving kindness, self-compassion, and gentleness, and how my Mindfulness practice benefits, maintains, and nurtures this. I find that when I am tired and discombobulated, I can lose connection with it and yet at these times I need it most. I am not saying that I use the tools of Mindfulness to ignore my feelings; this would be to bypass them and avoid my experience. It is imperative to acknowledge them and to find space to be with them. This enables me to nurture and bring loving kindness and compassion to both my inner and outer world.

Rachel Podger
I have recorded a meditation focusing on spaciousness which helps me in moments of tiredness to return and be with myself. This allows me to feel more connected to myself and others and helps me to let go of the things, thoughts, and reactions, which are not serving my highest good and my overall well-being. This is often hard and at times feels impossible to do, but this connection with spaciousness is something that is bigger than myself and helps me to find perspective and equilibrium. When I am able to remain present, no matter the circumstances, I am able to trust that Mindfulness and meditation are a way of life which benefit me hugely and allow me to come back to my heart and live a richer more fulfilled life.
Spaciousness allows me to feel safe enough to let go of that which no longer serves me and leaves me free to focus on that which infuses with hope and joy and gives me a renewed ability to connect with nature and the ground beneath me.
