The Colours of Spring

The Colours of Spring

Over the last few days, I have been spending some time taking in the beauty of each moment that passes by. Doing so has reminded me that it is important for us to take ourselves out into the world every now and again to absorb our surroundings. With the arrival of spring, taking in my surroundings and the glorious colours that fill the landscape has helped me feel more peaceful and alive. The blooming flowers remind me of people and places I am fond of, which has helped soothe and calm my nervous system.

“As I write this blog, picturing the flowers and the colours of spring allows me to reconnect with a sense of peace.”

Rachel Podger

As I write this blog, picturing the flowers and the colours of spring allows me to reconnect with a sense of peace. Doing so also takes me back to a conversation I once had with a friend about colour, meditation, and how we can connect to colours and notice how they feel. Visualising the bright yellow daffodils, the fresh green grass, and the blue sky additionally reminds me that this season is full of promise and potential. My thoughts also turn to my Grandmother, who loved primroses and their delicate flowers. This Easter bank holiday weekend, I hope you are able to spend some time outdoors with your nearest and dearest. Remember to pause, connect over a shared experience, and take in the beauty of each moment that passes by.
