Finding Colour

Finding Colour

A very dear and old friend wrote to me from Australia about finding colour again in her life. Like me, she is moving into the second half of her life and questioning her way forward. As I photographed nature and it’s beautiful colours yesterday, I held her in mind and connected with the colours of my day and the love that I have for her. There is a spaciousness that travels the world and I hold her in my heart as I remember all that we have shared on our journeys so far.

“I hope by reading this she will pause for a moment to connect with this love.”

Rachel Podger

I hope by reading this she will pause for a moment to connect with this love. Perhaps, for a moment, the colour that she knows exists and is still alive deep within her will be reawakened, and nature will help her believe and hope that there is more to come. We must embrace this second half of our lives not only for ourselves, but for the generations gone and those to come.
